From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome extended not just to us but to our dog made it feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail in our beautifully-appointed room, with its charming décor and delightful en-suite featuring a free-standing cast iron bath, truly set the stage for a relaxing weekend. Dining here is a treat; the carefully crafted A La Carte menu showcases the very best local ingredients and left us delightfully satisfied after every meal. We basked in the atmospheric charm of the bar area, where the knowledgeable barman provided us with exceptional gin pairings, enhancing our culinary journey. The Gin Trap certainly knows how to blend relaxation with indulgence, making it a perfect getaway spot for families, couples, and pet lovers alike, ensuring that everyone-human or four-legged-feels cherished in this slice of the English countryside.
